Since arriving in sunny California from a chilly Newmarket in December 2009 Simon has quickly established himself as a racehorse trainer with a very bright future in the U.S.  In a very short period of time Simon has developed a stable of stakes horses competing and winning at the highest level. 2011 saw his public stable at Santa Anita Park home to such as multiple Grade 1 winner Dubawi Heights, whom he campaigned to a position atop the West Coast filly and mare turf division, and Up In Time, who established herself among the leading sophomore turf fillies.

2012 brought the hugely impressive Belle Royale to the forefront of the West Coast filly/mare turf division with her win in the G1 Gamely Stakes while Slim Shadey emerged as a major force in the male turf division winning the G2 San Marcos Stakes and G2 John Henry Turf Championship.

2013 will see G3 Robert Frankel Stakes winner Qaraaba and G2 Goldikova Stakes winner Rhythm Of Light campaigned at the highest level with much expected of both. Those in the barn yet to have made a name for themselves include a number of very well regarded runners eager to do so.

Running a thoroughly professional stable with an excellent win percentage it is no surprise that Simon continues to attract the attention of new owners in the U.S. and Europe as strength and depth of talent is added going forward.
